Lightly sweetened with maple syrup, these toasted oats and sliced almonds are a crunchy topping for yogurt, fruits or just about any breakfast cereal. So simple it barely qualifies as a granola, made only with three ingredients that are likely already in your pantry.
I’m not a big fan of plain yogurt, but with a sprinkling of this granola and a drizzle of maple syrup; I am happily eating this for breakfast.
I’ve made granola a number of different ways over the years. While I love snacking on a fully loaded granola with nuts and fruits and chewy clumps of oats, this is the one I keep going back to when I’m making it myself.
Healthier than any granola you can buy in the store, you can stir this together and have it in the oven in less than 2 minutes. Barefeet In The Kitchen creator video with Mary Younkin
